I agree at 100%! For me the Enterprise Edition is a must!

Hi,
when I try to run in debug mode my Android App I get always the following error:
[DCC Error] E2597 c:\Development\Embarcadero\Studio\17.0\PlatformSDKs\android-ndk-r9c\toolchains\arm-linux-androideabi-4.6\prebuilt\windows\bin\arm-linux-androideabi-ld.exe: fatal error: ..\\..\\bin\\Android\\Debug\\libFarmComApp.so: mmap: failed to allocate 224571556 bytes for output file: Not enough space
I tried to the update Android NDK to the version r10e but the error is always the same.
Any idea?
Thank you very much

I created a simple application that accesses a DataSnap server. When I run in iOS9 simulator, everything works perfectly. When I run on the iPhone 5, an error message appears when connecting to DataSnap Server (External Exception 434C4E47432B2B00). Any idea?
I have a Rest Datasnap server that work fine with app in devices with iOS 9. All compiled with Delphi X Seattle. You can give me more details? Are you using the http protocol? If so you have to manage ATS (https://developer.apple.com/library/prerelease/ios/technotes/App-Transport-Security-Technote)

Hi
I have a problem with DelphiX Seattle and iOS 9 SDK.
My configuration is Delphi X Seattle and the new XCode 7. I have, in Delphi, imported iOS 9 SDK.
Now, if I compile my app with iOS 9 SDK work only in devices with iOS 9. In iOS 8.x not work: crash at sartup. If I compile the same app with iOS 8.4 SDK (always Delphi X Seattle + XCode 7) the app work fine in devices with iOS9 and iOS 8.x.
Best Regards
Claudio

Hi Giuseppe,

I suggest you to use an layout component to better manage your components in a form

Hi Manuel,

yes, you can install the command line compiler in another computer. If I remember correctly (but I have not yet tested in XE8) you must copy the \Bin and \Lib sub-folders content into your remote computer. Then run DCC32.exe command line compiler, changing the DCC32.CFG file content to point to all needed source code paths. Do not forget to set a temporary folder for all your .dcu generated files, and specify a .exe destination folder.

The sub-folders "Bin" and "Lib" must be a full edition and not trial edition.

PS: My advice though is to use MSBuild and not dcc32

Hi Manuel,

>>... and how do I use it on the build-server?

if you want test XE8 (trial edition) to compile your projects you can but with the IDE and not with command line compiler.

>>Buy a separate license?

I'm sorry but I not understand. The trial edition is free for 30 day and its aim is to evaluate the product. If you must compile and distribute projects for the production you must buy the full version (pro or higher)
