Hello,
I just found a crippling bug in reFind: if there is any conditional compilation option in any uses clause, using the #unuse pre-defined rule will result in every unit that is conditionally defined to be removed.
That means we can't use it on our code since we do have quite a lot of these.
Anyone can suggest a fix?

Well, I'm not sure how this thing gets unabled because it does seem to reactivate itself from time to time (I don't enroll either at install - although I might have forgotten to clear that checkbox once since the botched 10.2.2 release forced me to reinstall from scratch a few times).
What happen is that when that setting is enabled, if the remote server does not respond (which is most of the time given EMB inability to maintain any service online for any given amount of time), then the IDE will NOT terminate immediately when you exit. Instead, the task will stay behind for several minutes, causing many issues and, occasionally, blow up with an AV.
When one goes into the IDE option page and disable the option, the IDE then freeze when pressing "OK". If one wait longs enough (several minutes), then the IDE will trigger an AV and exit but, apparently, the option becomes unchecked when the IDE is restarted.
This is with 10.2.1 Given the fiasco with the 10.2.2 release and the amount of work we have during this period of the year, my boss wants us to wait another month before installing the update.

Thank you for your answer but I'm talking about the Delphi IDE, not one of my application.

Hello,
Everyone in my team have the same issue: when we try to disable delphi's AppAnalytics through the options page, the delphi IDE freeze when clicking on "OK"
We need to disable AppAnalitics because it seems abandoned and the fact that the servers are non-responsive cause the IDE to fail to quit properly (well, it does after timing out many times).

I agree with the first poster. The problem isn't the learning curve (although I could honestly say the way some tasks needs to be done in Firmonkey have clearly been thought of by The Joker). The main problem is the huge amount of bugs that is in tha
