Rio T-Shirt Competition

Rio T-Shirt CompetitionTo celebrate the upcoming release of 10.3 Rio, we are pleased to announce a T-Shirt Design competition. Show us your design skills with your best “Rio” and “Carnival” themed t-shirt designs to celebrate everything that is fantastic about our favorite development tools!

Submit your design and the community will vote on the designs. Embarcadero will select a design from the most popular designs and make a t-shirt out of it. The most popular designers will receive a shirt along with a few randomly selected voters.

Requirements

  • Give both C++Builder & Delphi equal billing
  • Be tasteful
  • Do not use third parties trademarks or copyrights unless you have the proper license from the owner
    • Keep a list of any third party graphics, fonts, etc. you use so we can verify they are properly licensed if your design is selected
    • Be creative and create your own original graphics
  • Include at least the Embarcadero circle e logo
  • You can always find our official logos on our website.

Community may vote on all submitted designs. Embarcadero will select a design from the top 10 submissions to use on a shirt. Embarcadero reserves the right to edit selected design before creating shirt.

Prizes

  • One of the top 10 designs (as selected by Embarcadero) will be immortalized on an official Embarcadero T-Shirt
  • Top 10 designers will receive a free t-shirt
  • 10 randomly selected voters will receive a free t-shirt

This contest is sponsored by Embarcadero Technologies, Inc. (“Embarcadero”), located at 10801 North Mopac Expressway, Building 1, Suite 100, Austin, Texas 78759. There is no purchase necessary to enter or win. This context is open to participants who are eighteen (18) years or older at the time of entry; however, the contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law. The qualification period for the prize drawings of the contest of the Rio T-Shirt Challenge begins at 12:01am CST on October 16th, 2018 and ends at 11:59pm CST on October 30th, 2018. To enter the contest, you can submit your entry form through the community.embarcadero.com website. You can submit as many entries as you want during the contest period. The odds of winning will be determined by the number of entries received by midnight CDT on October 30th, 2018, and the number of votes that each entry receives by other community members. You are not allowed to vote on your own entry. Once an entry has been submitted to the contest it may be voted by other community members. By entering, participants agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of Embarcadero, which shall be final. All United States federal, state, and local laws apply. Embarcadero and its employees, officers, directors, shareholders, agents, representatives, affiliates, subsidiaries, and advertising, promotion and legal advisors are not responsible for and shall not be liable for: (1) late, lost, delayed, damages, misdirected, incomplete, illegible, or unintelligible entries; (2) telephone, electronic, hardware, or software program, network, Internet, or computer malfunctions, failures, or difficulties; (3) errors in transmission; (4) any condition caused by events beyond the control of Embarcadero that may cause the contest to be disrupted or corrupted; (5) any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by a prize or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use of a prize, or from participation in the contest, including, but not limited to, the violation of any third party intellectual property rights; or (6) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the contest. Embarcadero reserves the right to disqualify any participant or winner who, in its sole suspicion, tampers with the entry process, intentionally submits an entry that violates a third-party intellectual property rights, violates these rules or Embarcadero privacy policy or acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. By submitting an entry to the contest, participant explicitly grants permission to Embarcadero to use, publicly display, distribute, modify and edit your graphic, and use your name and information in social media, online, to create a shirt, and in other ways. Prizes will be awarded to the top ten (10) designers, and in a random drawing held from among all eligible entries received. Winner will receive a t-shirt with the bearing the selected design. The winners will be notified by electronic mail at the email address provided during the entrant’s registration after November 1st, 2018. If the winner does not respond to the email notification within 48 hours of its transmission, or should the email be returned as undeliverable after 2 attempts, the prize will be forfeited, and an alternate contestant will be selected at random. Winners may not substitute or transfer prizes. Embarcadero reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in the event a prize is unavailable. Prizes are not redeemable for cash. All taxes on prize are winners' responsibility. Limit one prize per household. Except where prohibited by law, entry constituents grant Embarcadero permission to use winners' names and picture with the winning prize, hometowns and likenesses for online posting, and/or any advertising and publicity without additional compensation. Winners may also be required to sign and return a release of liability, declaration of eligibility and, where lawful, a publicity consent agreement, as conditions of receiving a prize. Failure to comply with the aforementioned conditions shall be grounds for forfeiture of a prize.
