My upcoming FireMonkey events, RAD Studio XE2 Update 2 and Hot Promotion! FireMonkey in Action LIVE! in Warsaw, Poland I'm back from Poland from my home city - Warsaw - where I was showing yesterday "FireMonkey in Action LIVE!!!". RAD Studio XE2 World Tour: Istanbul (Turkey) RAD Studio XE2 World Tour continues! Last week I have been demonstrating FireMonkey, Delphi and RAD Studio XE2 in Istanbul in Turkey. ITDevCon 2011 I'm back from Verona from ITDevCon 2011. This was my 3rd time to participate in this biggest annual European Delphi conference. Same as in 2009 and 2010 the energy was very positive and Fabrizio's crew from bitTime did a great job in making it attractive and interesting event. The conference started from the keynote by Fabrizio, Daniele and David I and was followed by the "Delphi XE2 Overview" that I had a pleasure to co-present with David I. An accelerating magnetic clock? Sometimes you do stuff just because you can... I spiffed up my Accelerometer component a little bit. I also wrapped up my Location based stuff into a Location component that handles both GPS coordinates, altitude and heading (true and magnetic). What better way to test both of these components than my Clock app? Believe it or not, the time is 11:17am in this screen shot. The 12-hour is pointing North. ;) And I apparently leaned my phone so that the clock "fell" up into the top-right ...
