Want more...Toys
Continuing my month of July theme about wanting more, this time it is Toys. Peter Pan, by J.M. Barrie, said he would never grow up, never grow up, never grow up, not me ("I Won't Grow Up"). That's me in spades. I suspect that many developers also have a lot of kid inside themselves. We have toys. We want more toys. My list includes nerf weapons, fishing rods and reels, frisbees, scuba gear, and golf clubs.
For technical toys most developers probably have a smart phone, an iPad, AppleTV, a Drobo, funky memory stick, electric guitar, ambient orb, RC helicopter, and hundreds of other techie toys.
In development environments, components, and tool sets we also have our favorite toys. My favorite developer toys include DB Power Studio, TMS Component Pack Pro, AQTime, Raize Components, UML, xUnit Testing framework, CodeSite, Beyond Compare, GExperts, CodeHealer, FinalBuilder, Jedi VCL, REST, TeeChart, Castalia, DevExpress VCL Subscription, DataSnap, FastReport, Jedi Code Library, InstallAware, and Vision Lab.
So, whether I'm playing or programming, the more toys I have, the more fun I'm having.

There are several great reporting tools for Delphi/C++Builder. Originally we included ReportSmith, then QuickReports and in the past few versions RaveReports. All are part of our technology partner program. We continue to take a look at tools we might add in the future. I will always keep everyone posted if we add additional capabilities to RAD Studio/Delphi/C++Builder.
Thank you Radek, and everyone, for your continued support and feedback. -

Only one question. Why is not FastReport default report engine in Delphi?
