There is a bug in the game where I can't die or move.

I've been watching it for about 10 minutes now and I'm up to level 15. My score is over 100000.

You may want to get this looked at.

I don't know how I triggered it but I was moving alright, died once and the completed the level. When the next level began I was on the left of the screen and was stuck.

I think I hit the same bug.
I can't die and if I try to David he makes strange jumps on the spot.
Right now I'm on level 252 with a score of 31788640.
I think it happened when I lost the first life but I'm not sure.

Just curious: How many levels are there?

Just curious, is there some sort of validation on the score parameter in the URL? Otherwise I could enter any score I want ;o)

I let the game run while I slept.
It's now on level 765 and the score is 292721140.

Certainly not difficult to find or induce bugs with the movement controls, not worthy of a QC entry but nevertheless... press and hold the down arrow then pressing the up arrow. David jumps. Repeat this a second time and he becomes stuck in a crouch until he dies.

Thanks for all of the great comments and "bug" reports. The game was written with Adobe Flash. We left some of them in so that you would talk about the game.

Thanks for spreading the word about the game. I really enjoyed doing the scuba video. Can't wait to get back in the water after my world tour and show how you can program underwater on a notebook computer using RAD Studio XE.

"We left some of them in so that you would talk about the game."

    Pathetic.

I think I have discovered what triggers the bug.
If you die just when the level ends, it seems you are not really restored back to life but remains in the land of the dead, so you can't die again.

Do I get a price for finding the bug?

Cool! Everyone, try to see how many David I's you can get on a screen and post the bitmap. That is part of the fun.

David, any chance y'all wanna throw copies of Delphi in the prize pool. I love Embarcadero's DB tools, but D2010 or XE would whet my appetite even more...that or an umbrella ;-)

    David
Has this been drawn? If so is there a list of winners and prizes anywhere?

    Cheers Paul
