What are Push Notifications?
Amechanism to send notifications to mobile devices. The end-user must authorize the app that uses push notifications. Push notifications can be received even while the app is not running. Push Notification server will have support for both Android via Google Cloud Messaging (GCM) and iOS via Apple Push Notifications (APN).
