I'm leaving on a Jet Plane - David I's round the world RAD Studio XE2 tour

Posted by on in Blogs
All my bags are packed and I am ready to go.  I am on my way to San Francisco Airport to start my "RAD Studio XE2 Around the World in Two Weeks" tour. My stops are part of the Embarcadero RAD Studio XE2 World Tour.  I will make sure to blog on the way to keep you up to date on where I am and what attendees are saying.  If you are near the cities that I am visiting, I hope you will stop by and say hello.

Tour Dates, Locations, and Registration Links

There are many other stops on the RAD Studio XE2 World Tour, and more being added every day.  I hope we can see you at one of the stops.

Congrats to the new Delphi XE2 release.
We see a positive step ahead with this product.

There is one small thing still open: Our product is based on "Bold for Delphi". So please make this open-source or any other way (we would pay money) so we can move from Delphi 7 to XE2.

Thanks and I wish you a good journey around the world.

I could not agree more with Sam.
Embarcadero must do something about the current situation with Bold for Delphi.
Most major programming languages like C#, Java etc have an active ORM framework. But Delphi miss that.
Bold exists and is even being updated by some users.

Embarcadero should take the opportunity and to update and release Bold for Delphi XE2.
Or simply release it as open source if this is not interesting.
