Happy New Year 2013....
The RAD Studio Mobile Roadmap, http://edn.embarcadero.com/article/42544, not only lights the runway to the next generation of mobile devices, it also shows developers how we will leverage the work being completed with new compilers (including the new C++Builder 64-bit Windows compiler), toolchains, IDE designers, sensors and APIs to also support Windows 8/ARM/RT and Linux Servers. We know that each of our customers has their own business and development priorities and we will continue to listen and keep tuning our development strategies.
The Embarcadero Executive, R&D, Product Management, Product Marketing, Marketing, Field Sales and Marketing, Developer Support and Customer Service teams thank all of you for your support in 2012. We are totally committed to continue to improve everything we do in this new year of 2013.
One of the great things about working with developers is, you are not quiet. We love hearing from you and will continue to do everything humanly and technically possible to developer the best products, documentation, updates, hot fixes, webinars, live events and content.
Again, Happy New Year to every developer around the world!
Your friend and fellow developer,
David Intersimone "David I"
Vice President of Developer Relations and Chief Evangelist
Working for all of you, since June 1985!

Surprisingly, my previous post has been removed ! I have paied for Delphi XE2 that was an unfinished release. I have paied for Delphi XE3 that is an unfinished release. I hope for for 2013 that Delphi XE4 will be an finished release. And if you remove this post, it is because you know that you are selling unfinished products.
Happy new year.

Reyns - I can't find any previous comments using the Wordpress admin search system. I do not purposely delete blog posts unless they contain profanity, spam or some other illegial, unethical or immoral content. In any case...
As with ALL software, there are going to be some problems. The key is to keep updating, fixing, improving and adding new capabilities. Thank you for your opinion about whether certain product releases are "unfinished".
We know we are not perfect and that we need to continue to improve in everything we do.

Thanks for your answer. There was a previous post but I don't care about that. I'm using Delphi since Delphi 1. Delphi is a very good product and what you are doing now is what we have been waiting for during those last years (since the Inprise-Borland-Codegear difficult to follow strategy). One release per year is difficult to follow and I'm still using XE for production, even if I'm using XE3 for R&D. And I'm still thinking that one release every 2 or 3 years would be enough. I'm even ready to pay for that throught a subscription like MSDN (that's the only one thing you should copy from Microsoft). I trust in what you are doing and I hope that 2013 will be the good year for a stabilized product. We need stability to make good software.

Thank you Embarcadero for all the work you have put into these products. I wish you all the best as you continue to push the envelope in 2013. I am particularly looking forward to the mobile development tools that promise to bring the "Delphi-way" to iOS and Andriod. Things have not been perfect, but I must say from them bottom of my heart that I really want you guys to succeed at what you are doing. When you do, I do. We all do. Cheers! and Happy New year to all developers out there!
