More information

While for Delphi this brings Linux support (coming soon for C++Builder in 10.2.1), we have some great areas of new features and improvements to C++Builder for all users in 10.2, and we hope you'll find it a great release.

    Hi David,

Can you confirm if Multi-Tenancy is available in C++ Builder 10.2 please?

This G+ post from Embarcadero suggests that it is supported, https://plus.google.com/+embarcadero/posts/XFug3iQZPST

But the feature matrix suggests that it isn't, https://www.embarcadero.com/docs/rad-studio-feature-matrix.pdf

The emsserver.ini file doesn't include the Tenancy section and adding it makes no difference but the admin console applications are installed and can be executed.

    Thank you,

    Andy

So far as I know mutli-tenancy works, yes! What have you tried?

Perhaps you can contact support, who should be able to help you with your app.

How do I contact Support David?

EMS resources simply don't work in C++ 10.2 Tokyo and I'd like somebody to acknowledge it and let me know if a fix is likely to be available any time soon.

Thanks for replying David. To be honest, EMS isn't working at all in 10.2 Tokyo. I can't say whether or not it worked before the emsserver.ib was upgraded to v 1.3 but it certainly doesn't work now. https://forums.embarcadero.com/thread.jspa?threadID=249049&tstart=0 This thread details the issue.

Where Humans David. We don't see what we have, only what we missed out on. Android Services, Refactoring and DataSnap on Linux are the big ones. Keep banning on the door for us until they hear you. Oh! and good effort!

Thanks Al. Everything is being worked on! (Btw, we do have DataSnap in Linux. http://docwiki.embarcadero.com/RADStudio/Tokyo/en/DataSnap_Server_Wizard_for_Linux )

Hi, on Nov 15th you told us, that C++ rename refactoring had to be delayed to the next version. I assume rename refactoring is now in Tokyo 10.2?

    Regards, Peter

Hi Peter - is that this post? https://community.embarcadero.com/blogs/entry/deferring-c-rename-refactoring-from-10-1-berlin-update-2

That refers to "a" future version. It is coming, but it's not in 10.2 I'm afraid. We're working on C++ language services throughout the IDE, which will enable more than just rename refactoring.
