Building Mobile Apps for iOS and Android from One Codebase webinar, Feb 22, 11am Amsterdam

Why Delphi and C++Builder are unique on the developer tools market today? There are many other development environments, many different programming languages, but there is no other tool, that makes it possible to build natively compiled apps from one codebase for all major mobile and desktop operating systems including iOS, Android, Windows, Mac and Linux!

On the lowest level there are many different compilers for C++ and Object Pascal languages in RAD Studio that can generate native executables for all different supported platforms. That would not be enough. Delphi and C++Builder offer "Rapid Application Development" methodology, hence "RAD Studio", where you can build your apps from hundreds of high-level reusable components for all programmer tasks from user interface controls, to database queries, REST clients, timers and tons of other things. When developers in other environments need to write lines and lines of code, RAD Studio programmer just use components to get super productive.

The icing on the cake is the support for styling. RAD Studio comes with many beautifully designed styles that can quickly make your app look great!

It's good that some kind of webinars should take place for teaching and developing skills sets in mobile app developers http://www.proleadsoft.com/mobile-app-development/

    Hi,
is it possible to use different views in VCL application, ie. one codebase, different form design ?

    Hi Sven,
I do not think it is possible out-of-the-box.
FireMonkey has different architecture for styling.
In VCL styles are applied globally.
    best regards,
    Paweł
