Does any GetIt package install in 10.2?
Don't know about you, after going through the usual hassle of full day remove older version and install the new one (why the heck can't we get a real upgrade?), now I see a few packages available in GetIt. Tried several, all download, compile and fail, with fatal errors.
For the first time I installed 10.2 Tokyo using the WebInstaller.
But again, most of the GetIt packages I'm supposed to use are not present, and the ones that are, fail.
What about you? Were you able to install, say, Abbrevia, Lockbox?
For me (Windows 7 RAD Studio Enterprise 10.2.2) Lockbox3 just gives the last message "Process completed successfully" but it seems nothing has been installed. Compilation fails with missing Lockbox3 classes.
I had to fully remove everything and reinstall from the ISO file to have the GetIt Packages to install completely.
I always use the ISO but for once I wanted to give the WebInstall a try, selecting what I want.
The difference is that the ISO never install Android sdk's no matter what, but make GetIt work while the web installer installs Android but I was not able to have GetIt work. I installed it twice into a VM.
Hello Steve - What install error messages do you get installing Abbrevia or LockBox using the GetIt Package Manager?
Using the current 10.2 Tokyo, I just tried installing both Abbrevia and LockBox using the GetIt Package Manger and both installed OK like this:
LockBox 3 3.5.2:
