Happy New Year 2013....

Posted by on in Blogs
I wish all developers a Happy New Year 2013.  In 2012, we delivered technology for developers who have to support the growing heterogeneous mix of Windows and Apple devices, UI approaches, OS versions, and emerging form factors. RAD Studio XE3 gave you the developer force multiplier and the fastest way to build data-rich, visually engaging applications for Windows 8, Mac, .NET, Web and mobile. The combination of Delphi, C++Builder and HTML5 Builder provides the unique tools, frameworks and platform support for you to move forward into 2013 and beyond. FireMonkey 2 (FM2), the next generation business application platform, was refactored and expanded to support Windows and Mac today and mobile devices in 2013. HTML5 Builder appeared to provide RAD, visual development for Web and Mobile applications using the unique combination of HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3 and components.

The RAD Studio Mobile Roadmap, http://edn.embarcadero.com/article/42544, not only lights the runway to the next generation of mobile devices, it also shows developers how we will leverage the work being completed with new compilers (including the new C++Builder 64-bit Windows compiler), toolchains, IDE designers, sensors and APIs to also support Windows 8/ARM/RT and Linux Servers.  We know that each of our customers has their own business and development priorities and we will continue to listen and keep tuning our development strategies.

The Embarcadero Executive, R&D, Product Management, Product Marketing, Marketing, Field Sales and Marketing, Developer Support and Customer Service teams thank all of you for your support in 2012.  We are totally committed to continue to improve everything we do in this new year of 2013.

One of the great things about working with developers is, you are not quiet.  We love hearing from you and will continue to do everything humanly and technically possible to developer the best products, documentation, updates, hot fixes, webinars, live events and content.

Again, Happy New Year to every developer around the world!
